By Brooke Colledge

For the second consecutive year, the dedicated team at Ray White Jimboomba ventured to Woodhill State School to partake in Wellness Day, a delightful event that promotes well-being and community spirit. This year, the team, led by Brooke Colledge, the Principal of the office, engaged with students in a heart-warming gardening activity – planting marigold seeds. Building on the success of last year’s sunflower planting, this annual partnership with the school not only instils a love for nature but also underscores the significance of wellness in children’s lives.

Ray White Jimboomba has always embraced the Jimboomba community. The team’s unwavering commitment to giving back to the community is evident through its meaningful collaboration with Woodhill State School. The partnership goes beyond mere transactions; it is a genuine effort to enrich the lives of local children and foster a sense of belonging.

Last year, Ray White Jimboomba introduced the students to the joys of gardening by providing them with sunflower seeds. This simple yet engaging activity helped students understand the life cycles of plants and allowed them to care for something as it grew. Witnessing the sunflowers bloom filled the students with a sense of pride and accomplishment.

This year, the team returned with marigold seeds, known for their vibrant and cheerful blooms, symbolizing positive emotions and happiness. By planting marigold seeds, the students learned about the power of positivity and the joy that can be spread through simple acts.

The success of the day wouldn’t have been possible without the dedicated team from Ray White Jimboomba. Brooke Colledge, the Principal of the office, took the lead, bringing her passion for community involvement and well-being to the forefront. Joining her were Daytona Colledge, Dimity Burn, and Carli Davies, who eagerly shared their time and expertise with the students.
